Questions we get every week
Do I need to buy the mount myself?
Either way works. If you already have one, we will use it as long as it is rated for your TV. If not, we carry quality fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts starting at $59 and can bring the right one to the appointment.
Can you hide the cables inside the wall?
Yes, on standard drywall. We install a code-compliant recessed power and HDMI kit so nothing is visible between the TV and the components. It is a $120 add-on and takes about 30 extra minutes.
Will you drill into brick or a stone fireplace?
We do it regularly. Masonry installs use hammer-drilled sleeve anchors rated well beyond the TV weight. There is a $75 surcharge for the extra labor and hardware.
Is mounting above a fireplace a bad idea?
Sometimes. Two things matter: viewing height and heat. We check the mantel clearance and surface temperature on arrival, and if it is too hot we will tell you straight rather than cook your TV. A pull-down mount solves the height problem in most rooms.
Do you charge extra to travel out of town?
Only past 30 miles from Jacksonville. Inside that radius there is no trip charge at all. Beyond it we add a flat $49 travel fee, and you will hear that number on the phone before you book — it never gets added to the invoice afterward.
How long does an install take?
Most single-TV jobs run 60 to 90 minutes. Add roughly 30 minutes for in-wall cable concealment and another 30 for masonry work.
Are you insured?
Yes — we carry general liability insurance and can send a certificate if your building or HOA requires one. Just ask when you book.
What if the TV falls?
It will not, but our workmanship is warrantied for a full year and our liability policy covers your property. Every mount is anchored into structure, never drywall alone, and load-tested before we leave.
How do I pay?
Cash, card, Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay — after the job is finished and you are happy with it. No deposit required for standard residential installs.
